Outasight - Don't Say Anything (Video Preview)

Things have been quiet on the Notherground front, but rest assured, 6th Sense and friends are real busy behind the scenes. Outasight dropped off this "preview" for the "Don't Say Anything" video -- unfortunately, a preview is all we're going to get (see below). Peace y'all!

This was the trailer to the original Dont Say Anything video, directed/drawn by Tomas Whitmore. The medium was chalk on the ground. Unfortuantely, some people sprayed water on our video and washed it all away. So this video will never see the light of day, but I’d thought I’d share to a few friends. Got a new video coming for that song still, just a different concept.

It’s no secret that “hip-hop” is now a nebulous term, as subgenres like Hyphy, Crunk, Grime, Jerk, and Club all have a specific sound while still falling under the banner of rap or hip-hop. Even “indie” or “underground” designations assigned to certain artists and tracks seem to be uniform and generic. But artists like Pooh of Little Brother, Curtains, Skyzoo, Christian Rich, and U-N-I, all of whom are featured on the “Changemakers” tape, are examples of artists who don’t fit neatly into any one of those boxes.

Check for the Kickdrums and 6th Sense tracks, too. Great spring time jams.
