Outasight Rolls Through France

Man, the "Rolling With Me" series has come along way since it started out on the streets of NYC. Catch Outasight, 6th Sense and the boys as they take a Tour De France. Props to Outasight for using the same laptop I rock with -- Dell XPS. 100% worst decision I ever made in my life.

Outasight - Losing My Mind {Prod. by 6th Sense}

Another must-download from Outasight and 6th Sense. Ou's losing his mind and is making a point of letting us know about it by including the lyrics on this joint (below). Video drops before the end of the month.

Breaker breaker one nine
Can you hear me
Over and out
Goin clearly
Clearly I’m losing
Losing My mind
Losing My mind

Watup to my audience
Been holdin on line
not foldin like accordians
We goin Back to the future
Like ridin in deloreans Not crown victorians
life starts,
And the story ends
Skies Gray like dorian
Till voices started joining em,
Now it aint in vein,
So let the award tour begin
And New york is here since I started goin in
Got the juice tampico
Puerto rican girls used to go and call me rico
this music shit to me
Is like lou reed to nico
I Feel like razar ramon
watup chico
Thowen toothpics
At the amateurs
the said characters
Who tried to get the picture
But couldn’t get the apperature
The shutter speed
Or the right light
Now you in the dark
Like a night light
Fuck being like mike
Be like Outasight
And grow a set
And here come the hook
Cause This shit aint over yet

Another bar gettin thrown out
Speakin man to man
I just wanna chill and zone out
If you don’t know jack
Homie dont pull ya phone out
And I can drop dimes
But I aint got much to loan out
Every weekend gettin blown out
15 years old with a north face and a blow out
19 selling 20s trying to pull the dough out
25 and signed now the light don’t go out.

Outasight aint outalight
But he’s sure out his mind
but he aint out of time,
Groovin
Chillin
Routing for the villain
Downtown dwelling
Boy his ego swelling
Like he got knocked in his head
Downing johnny walker red
Every one of our parents said
Stay in school
Some of us did
Some of us didn’t
Some of us cared
Some of us living
Some of us dead
Some of us broke
Some of us rich
None of us should Ever live in the fear
Of speaking clear
So grow a set
And here come the hook
Cause This shit aint over yet

Outasight Talks Label Situation w/ Good Fella Media

With shake-ups at Warner and major shakiness in the industry in general, these can be uneasy times for an up-and-coming artist like Outasight -- he sets those fears at ease though in this interview with Good Fella Media.

LRG Presents: Holiday 2010

Featuring Outasight, Justin Bennee, Chris Grenier, and more.

We'll let Outasight tell it:
A few months back I traveled out to Park City, Utah to shoot the LRG Winter Ads with the LRG Snow and Skate team. Amazing times, I should upload my flip cam footage of when I was dog sledding through the mountains.

Shouts to the whole LRG fam.

Outasight - Never Say Never (Album Download)

If you liked Further then you will love Outasight's newest endeavor, the 14 track Never Say Never. Featuring production from the likes of 6th Sense, Cook Classics, Sa-Ra and guests like Freddie Gibbs and XV, Never finds OU more vulnerable than in the past in terms of subject matter, but harder than ever with his delivery.

The combo soul singer/east coast MC style that helped Ou make a name for himself really comes into itself on this album, mostly because he sounds more comfortable in the transition than he has in the past. For those following Outasight for a while, you'll be reminded why you've been pulling for him all along, and all those who are just getting up on the Yonkers native for the first time will wonder why the rest of the world is living in the dark.

Stream the album below or click to "Download" to permanently destroy your speakers. Tracklist below...

Chris Faust & Outasight are "Looking Back"

Chris Faust bka PRINT of AOK has been around the NY scene for a minute. Honestly, he and Homeboy Sandman cover more ground in NYC's underground hip-hop nightlife than any other artists around right now. He took some time off from networking to get in the studio with Outasight, and they came up with "Looking Back". It's the first record off Chris's soon-to-drop album Faust. Look out: this is a summer track.

Outasight Live from The Famous Factory

Outasight @ The Famous Factory II from Thank God I'm Famous on Vimeo.

Some high res footage taken from Ou's recent show at The Famous Factory. Captures the whole set.

This is the second of a monthly Famous Factory series of shows across the country for ages 16 and up, which will highlight the different forms of hip-hop, from underground sounds to gangsta heat, to the new school’s downtown cool. The Famous Factory Show brings Internet artists with the biggest buzz to perform live in front of the fans responsible for these rappers’ online success. It also allows teens (ages 16 and up), who often don’t get to attend live performances, to see some of their favorite artists and enjoy a good hip-hop performance.

Timberlake Proteges FreeSol Drop Mixtape Featuring Outasight

Hip-hoppers need to stop hating on Justin Timberlake for being in NSync. The fact of the matter is that he is, hands down, one of the most talented entertainers of our generation. So, with that said, he's a pretty good guy to have cosign your project, which is exactly what FreeSol, a 4-piece hip-hop/rock band, got when they signed to Timberlake's TennMan label.

The group just dropped their first mixtape RockNRolla, hosted by DJ Benzi, and in case your hesitating on the download button take a listen to this first single that leaked a while back featuring verses from Outasight, Kyle Lucas and 8Ball.

Grab the mixtape here.

Outasight - Dizzy (Prod. by Cook Classics)

Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for a bumping July 4th weekend because not only is Outasight's Never Say Never project dropping on the 2nd, but I'm actually going to be around to post about it. I know the second part  excites you, so I won't waste time talking about it. But in case you're not excited about the first part, stop, smack yourself, then listen to this track. Thank you. That is all.
